The tatoo says 'ad astra per aspera' which translates, ' through adversity to the stars'. Tyler Benner was training for the Olympic games in Athens when he was racing in a Cad II class road bike criterion and crashed braking his right clavicle. Told by doctors that he would neer shoot again - radically he had the damaged part of the shoulder removed. Defying all odds he has returned to competing on the world class level as a physical anomoly... It is an amazing but true comeback story.
